Spalding: This week in Spalding we are writing 20 words (all cursive) and studying phonograms!
Grammar/Writing: This week in grammar we are learning about fact and opinion and in writing they will continue to compose paragraphs.
History: We are going to be diving deeper into the Civil War. Scholars should be able to identify who won the war and why.
Science: We will continue to look at plants and habits of plants. Scholars should continue working on their Insect Projects. They will be due Tuesday, May 13th.
Math: This week in Math we are revisiting money with coin recognition, and counting coins
Literature: This week we are Beginning our next classic, Crickets in Time Square.
Poetry/ Saying: This week we are continuing our new poem “The Lincoln” by Nancy Byrd Turner. Please have your scholar practice at home! Plan to recite 5/7-5/8
We are continuing our new saying “I’m going to turn over a new Leaf.”
