Weekly Newsletter Quarter 4 Week 8 5/5-5/9

Spalding: This week in Spalding we are writing 29 words (all cursive) and studying phonograms! 

Grammar/Writing: This week in grammar we are reviewing parts of speech and in writing they will continue to write paragraphs.

History: Will complete our study of the civil war and have our Quiz on Friday, May 9th.

Science: In prep for our Insect Projects, we will take a deeper dive into insects.

MathThis week in Math we are continuing money concepts. We will review on Thursday and test on Friday.

LiteratureThis week we are continuing classic, The Cricket in Time Square.

Poetry/ Saying: This week we are continuing our new poem The Lincoln” by Nancy Byrd Turner. Please have your scholar practice at home! We are reciting on 5/7-5/8


We are continuing our new saying “I’m going to turn over a new Leaf.”
