Spalding: This week in Spalding we are writing 30 words (all cursive) and studying phonograms!
Grammar/Writing: This week in grammar we are learning about quotation marks and in writing we are writing a paragraph independently.
History: We will continue how early Americans traveled and settled west.
Science: We will continue learning about the different cycles of the earth. This week we will focus on what makes the seasons and the life cycle of a plant.
Math: This week the scholars are continuing to learn about shapes, reviewing shapes on Tuesday and testing on Wednesday. We will then introduce our next chapter about fractions.
Literature: This week we are continuing our classic, Charlotte's Web.
Poetry/ Saying: This week we are continuing our poem, "The Hayloft" by Robert Louis Stevenson. We are planning to recite April 9th/10th. Please have your scholar practice at home!
We are continuing our saying: "Practice what you preach."
